Fortes et liber
In infinitum
Caeli ennarant
Gloriam amor
Inter spem et metum
In vinculis, etiam audax
Dulce et decorum est
Pro patria mori
Qui desiderat pacem, praperat bellum
Homo vitae, commodatus non donatus est
Esto perpetua
Honor virutis preamium
Nil homini certum est
Eram quod es, eris quod sum
Memoria in aeterna
Pulvis et umbra sumus, redivivus
Incedium, ex amino, finis coronat noster opus
In memoriam, in excelsius, pax vobiscum
Pax et bonnum

Translation :

Strong and free
To infinity
The heavens declare
The glory of love
Between hope and fear
In chains, yet still bold
It is sweet and honorable
To die for one's country
He who wants peace readies for war
Man has been lent to life, not given
Let it be forever
Honour be the reward of virtue
Nothing is certain for man
I was what you are, you will be what I am
In everlasting remembrance
We are dust and shadow, come back to life!
Passion, from the heart, the ending crowns the work
In the memory of, in the highest, may peace be with you
Peace and salvation

  • would have been better without the lead's vocals

  • @KissMyButt9000 Then check out the source track, entitled Journey To The Front.

  • Anyone knows the name of the guy who sings? (not globus, the male vocalist)

  • @Meyerode Scott Ciscon. He's also featured in the songs Madre Terra and the live version of Diem Ex Dei.

  • Thanks for uploading this great song! :D

I don't know a lot of Latin, but I'd just like to point out some minor mistakes:

It should be praeparet bellum instead of praperet bellum.

    Also, it's virtutis, not virutis.

    Still, thanks a lot! :D

  • @cerberus112261 Those are the official lyrics in the booklet from the CD. :)

  • @KissMyButt9000 I strongly disagree. I think the lead vocals are amazing and they put a really strong impact on song's heaviness imo. If you catch my drift :)

  • @mommymusick As you said "yet another" I can only assume you've heard (of?) Epicon and thus you likely heard Madre Terra? Also phenomenal in every respect really. I've listened to Epicon for around four years now and it still doesn't get old, Break from this World is only going to join that on a timeless circle of enveloping astonishment.

    .Just... truly amazing.

  • Scott C. has a fantastic voice. After hearing this a few times I really can't imagine anyone else singing this who could sing it with more power. Thanks for the upload and Thanks to Globus for yet another phenomenal album. I literally still can't stop listening to it after 3 weeks :D

  • i love their new songs

  • I don't remember how often I had to cry when I listened to this.

This song is my favorite of all songs I have ever listened to..

  • I love this song, and his voice is so nice and pleasant:)

  • @Hakkar6993 thanks

  • @Hakkar6993 He needs to do more songs, I love his voice. xD
