I know that this was like, a year ago, but it actually says in the neon ballroom booklet that guest vocals for steam will rise was sweep. I think its somewhere around 3 minutes, but i could be just crazy :p

i've read a few interviews where he's said that she barked when he was recording vocals and they kept it in. and unless it's one of dan's stories and i'm crazy, i'm pretty sure i found it. just one bark somewhere in 3 min where it's all instrumental & sound effects then right as he goes into the chorus again you can hear a short bark. i could just be crazy, no one else has confirmed what i hear lol.

Sweep does actually howl in the song, dont listen to peacefuldisarray, she howls on the part that sounds kindve like a whistle. They ran it through some effects like a phase shifter to give it the different tone. Ive done the same thing with my friends recording software.

actually, if you go to the chairpage forums in the neon ballroom section, it's concluded that sweep is not barking in it, daniel has said that they didn't have time to record it
so, you're not going crazy by not hearing it :)

If anyone at all could listen to this song on the Neon Ballroom Album (track 12) and find sweep barking in the background i would be extremly greatful because everytime i liten to it i try to find it but i never can!
