The 1 hour network special from which these clips were taken is a part of the collection "The Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume 2", available through Amazon. In that collection, the specia has been split into 2 parts, the first part on disk 1 and the 2nd part on disk 3.

Do you know of any other instance in the whole of David Bowie's career where he's appeared on TV with another person alongside him - woman or man - whom none of his fans can identify?

I think that qualifies as something unusual - an enigma!

I first got a copy of this clip more than 17 years ago; but, after all this time, have still not been able to find out who the woman accompanying David Bowie is.

If anyone knows her identity, please reveal it here!

Don't overthink this. This was a 50th anniversary of Bugs Bunny with a lot of celebrities talking about the characters as if they were real. David's was the funniest.

Oh, and the reason I didn't notice any credit is that I do not actually own that collection but do know the source. Was delighted to find the clip. Have ordered the collection and will let you know if they give any credit to the lady.

No, I don't have a copy of the collection. but now you have me intrigued. Will do my best. The clip itself is part of an overall arc of the program, which was to highlight what it was like to "work with" the Warner Bros. characters. In this case, the Bowie "reveals" how he has always felt completely overshadowed by Bugs' to the extreme.
