  • If your new to these fires. most important to use dry timber , also worth investing in a stove thermometer, I keep it running at about 500c. Running costs approx 2 pound a week 8 hours a day sourcing free and purchased timber

  • Thiis is a 8kw stove heating a 27x17 foot room without to much problem

  • I got my load of timber on the day of install.18/20% moister content.Im find that the temp gets to 500c with just the paper and kindling.By the time the first log catches I'm already at 650c.

  • @hotstoves1 The greenest stove on the planet ( vision 500 59.33% efficient). If you are looking to now the efficiencys of stoves check out hetas web site you will find all the stoves on there. You have to take of 9 %

    ie pioneer 71.9 - 9% = 65.42% and that gives the proper efficiency rate. Hope this helps

    Clearview stoves one of the most unefficient stoves on the market.
