Great version. Thanks for uploading it. yes, it sounds more touching than the CD's one. I hope also he doesn't stop signing, but he seems clever enough to know when it's time for a change, even if we are gong to miss him.

Congrats to Emanuelle on the birth of her daughter.Actually PJ has said he would like to be a conductor when he stops singing, but I hope he NEVER stops!Also there was some talk about the ornamentation in this aria,(some said too much) but I think it is perfect and just right.Thank you Artis.

Talks about ornamentation reffer to the CD record, which is quite different from this concert performance - significantely faster and also less dramatic, on my opinion.

Thanks for the golden stars:))) If there was a better quality possible for this video, one could see the tears in eyes of the orchestra girls at the end of that magnetic performance.
Actually, this concert was remarcable with the fact, that conductor of Le Concert d'Astree E.Haim was absent from the concert because she gave birh to her daughter Luise. So the concert was led by the first violin and PJ himself.
