When I saw this movie, the angels weren't the bad guys. They were doing what they were told.

The reasons why I saw this movie was because of Kevin Durand and Paul Bettany. Two grade A actors. Just amazing.

You people should watch the movie before trying to understand it through the trailer... God got mad at humanity, so he's rying to exterminate us using the angels, His loyal servants (expept Micheal). awesome movie!! :D

Michael means: "who is like unto God"

The similarity in this storyline that i noticed is that Michael gave up his "glory" so to speak to become "human" (just like Jesus Christ did)

and he did it out of LOVE for mankind. The irony was michael supoposedly disobeyed an order to do so.

Try seeing them as this: They are faithful servants of God. To betray God for them is to fall, like Lucifer. They don't have a choice, they happily serve their God. So if God hates us, Angels do, does that help? :D

funny how "the bad guy" is supposed to be one of the holiest and sacred angels of the all and if case u dont know which angel im talking about its gabriel his name literally means strength of god so they r calling god, bad in an indirect way
