This was my first and only single (yes, single!) released on Ghetto records in 1990. The main singer is a guy called Tony O'Sullivan from Cork - (trading under the name 'Walter Ego').I haven't heard of him for ages and I don't know if he's still making music.

I asked two old art student friends from Coventry (Richard Blakey and Mike Wright) to make the video and it turned out pretty well.

The song was all about Scottish engineer, Sandy Kidd, who claimed his gyroscope machine had gravity -defying qualities (later disproven, funnily enough).

  • This is really very good indeed, completely unaware of it until just now stumbling across it via a Stump track. Nice one Kev Hopper, will check your other stuff out.

  • I saw this on the Chart Show and rushed out to buy it! Still one of my favourites, the album 'Stolen Jewels' is great too. I even read Sandy Kidd's book 'Beyond 2001'. Still waiting for his anti-gravity machine though.

  • Loved this track when it came out (still have the CD)!

  • I used to work at Davy Offshore in 1990, in Dundee. I met Sandy Kidd there, he was really interesting and used to talk about his anti-gravity machine.

  • WoW!! The rest of yoru stuff is pretty much absolute krap, but THIS is really kewl & interesting! =) It's actual MUSIC instead of just random 'plumbing noises' & miscellaneous werdz =P

  • When I saw this on "The Chart Show" back in '90, I hared off to the shops to buy it on 12" of shiny 45 rpm vinyl. Fantastic track, fantastic video.

  • I totally love this. a popular music track that's about gravity??? wow...!
