Kev Hopper - The Sound Of Gyroscopes

This was my first and only single (yes, single!) released on Ghetto records in 1990. The main singer is a guy called Tony O'Sullivan from Cork - (trading under the name 'Walter Ego').I haven't heard of him for ages and I don't know if he's still making music.

I asked two old art student friends from Coventry (Richard Blakey and Mike Wright) to make the video and it turned out pretty well.

The song was all about Scottish engineer, Sandy Kidd, who claimed his gyroscope machine had gravity -defying qualities (later disproven, funnily enough).

I saw this on the Chart Show and rushed out to buy it! Still one of my favourites, the album 'Stolen Jewels' is great too. I even read Sandy Kidd's book 'Beyond 2001'. Still waiting for his anti-gravity machine though.
