This Memorial Day, I post a mini-video review of a nice mod I came across -- the Atari S-Video mod by the Longhorn Engineer! This thing is great, mostly because it enables you to play old atari classics the way they were meant to be played. With either composite or S-video as your choice of input, this mod revitalizes the Atari 2600. I recommend checking this one out!

  • Good catch! To be honest, I didn't really check on the Jr. I think I might do this one in the future just for the variance. I'm actually considering opening a store where I sell modded consoles. Maybe an item? :)

  • The same guy that made the mod, "The Longhorn engineer". He's pretty neat :)

  • You can buy a 2600jr and make a simple mod from stuff you have at home for less that 40 bucks. But great job on the tutorial.

  • thanks you have a sexy voice

  • Hi , where did you get the pre drill template???

  • Oh my goodness. I had a 2600 from 1978 - 1983. Then I got an Atari 400 which was my first real computer. Then in 1986 I graduated to my friends old C-64.

  • Do you know you can pull composite and audio direct from the modulator? Why not check out my Jaguar Video mod. It's pretty cool.

  • no entendi ni mierda XD

  • Playing the ET game?! Nooooo!

  • Nice
