This is from the 1998 movie version of Lost in Space. A pretty mediocre film by far, but it had a pretty good soundtrack. It was composed by Bruce Boughton. This is from the sequence when the Robot goes on a rampage and damages most of the Jupiter 2's systems before being stopped by Will Robinson.

  • I don't care what other people say. I have always liked this film, and its soundtrack.

  • I'm a bit confused why people think so poorly of the film. The acting was good, the story was good, the gfx were great, the music was terrific. I the only thing I know of is that the original cast didn't get the roles some had wanted, and it strays from the original series a bit. Compare the film Serenity (2005), it scores a whopping 8.0 on IMDB. I couldn't force myself to watch more than 15 mins of it - Horrible movie, huge fanbase from the TV show. And here we see the converse.

  • @Aeolis7 That's a very good perspective, thank you. From your point of view, I probably would have been disappointed as well. However, I didn't grow up watching the series, and enjoyed the movie very much.

  • @Emc209i The acting was fair, the story was poor, the music was okay, and the television fan base expected a lot more after waiting some 30+ years for the to come to light. The characters strayed too far from the series. John Robinson was a heroic figure in the TV show. He was a whimp who couldn't even talk to his son, or relate to him on any level. The family was very dysfunctional in the movie. In the series, the family was chosen because they were so well adjusted. And the robot...yikes!

  • themes okay but the movie plows its just shit

  • COOL!
