A Story From Gaza:

A documentary produced by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies \ Reference Center for Psychosocial Support.

This documentary sheds the light on the psychological wounds of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, who have been living in dire conditions due to the Israeli occupation.

The psycho social support is a vital aspect of the PRCS' humanitarian work. The PRCS' aims to enhance Palestinians' psychosocial heath awareness; acquire them with individual skills and means to mitigate the damage/negative effects resulting from the current conditions; and provide psychosocial support and counseling to individuals and groups if needed, at all times and in all places.

PSP provides its services in all Governorates located in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip through the following programs, projects and psychosocial support centers which directly serve vulnerable populations in need of real assistance:

1- School-based Psychosocial Support Program, implemented in Tubas, Qalqilia, Nablus, Jaba', Jerusalem, Tulkarem and Hebron in cooperation with the Danish, Italian, Icelandic and French Red Cross Societies;
2- Psychosocial Centers (PSC)in Hebron and Khan Younis in cooperation with the Italian Red Cross. These centers target children and families suffering from the ongoing conflict;
3- Psychosocial Centers (PSC) in Gaza, Deir el Balah and Jabalia -- with the support of The Consortium;
4- Psychosocial Staff Capacity Building Program in cooperation with local and foreign experts, through training courses, workshops and exchange of experiences according to staff needs;
5- Expressive ArtTherapy and Capacity Building Center;
6- Chronic Diseases Program (diabetes & hypertension) in cooperation with the PRCS Primary Health Care Program and with the support of the Spanish Red Cross;
7- Restoring Family Links and Tracing Program, with the support of ICRC.
