jsut me showing off the hand paws that I made for my shiney umbreon costume. I like how they came out. I used blue crafting foam for the paw pads (cause I figure it would add a little 'umph' to the costume) and the claws are made from black sculpy

  • So cool! Can you give me any tips about making the costume, since I'm trying to make a shiny Umbreon costume?

  • @Dannyphantom35 sure thing! Honestly I thought that paws where the hardest thing to make and then....I find out that they werent? XD basicly all youre doing is traceing your hand (4 or 5 fingers, depends on what you want) and leave about...1/2 an inch around your hand (like you do in kindergarden) and..well cut out the pieces of fur and sew together! there are alot of tutorials online that have nice detailed pictures that can also be helpful

  • LOL! You should get a scratching post! x3

  • ironicly there is one next to me in this video!

  • the claws are awesome. where did you get the nails for your claws?

  • Thanks so much! I figure I won't have enough time to make the costume til the convention I'm going to, so I'll just take my time and go next year.

  • Lmao that is so adorable.

  • SWEET lol

i like the neon blue pads by the way

  • I love it! And umbreon too

  • well for me what I did was use needlepoint (plastic canvas) and I painted it black (cause I didnt have black |D ) I then used yellow crafting foam to make the colored parts of the eyes, and then used white crafting foam to make the shine in the eyes. I also put a black see thru material inside of the head so that you arent able to see in

There are many ways to make eyes thats just the one that I used for this particular costume. Good luck!
