Ikaruga Dot Eater Last Level Hard Attempt

This is the hardest thing i've ever done, hard is a big step up from normal, the journey to the boss only changes in difficulty with those little ships since there's more of them but the biggest changes are with the boss, the 1st form of the shoots a constant stream of bullets from it's body (Slows down if you die but getting through without dying is really hard), the 2nd form is only slightly harder than normal as it shoots even more bullets in faster intervals from the claws, this is where i usually met the game over screen as it takes LOTS of practice and skill. After doing the nightmarish 2nd form your faced with the hardest form, i've no idea how this is humanly possible without an insane amount of skill and luck, seriously it's pretty hard just dodging the bullets while changing polarity to keep up with the lasers let alone the barrage of bullets that come down the middle making it very hard to see the bullets coming from the claws, if it wasn't for those bullets from the claws then it wouldn't be too bad but your basically concentrating on 4 different things, keeping an eye on the bullets from both claws, moving in rythm with the bullets from the middle and keeping up with polarity changing for the lasers!

I didn't last long enough for it to get really started, the lasers and bullets down the middle get about 1.5x faster than they do were i died at.

I'm sure the video is enough to show why no one on XBL has done this XD

Seriously, I'm still struggling with L4 in "normal", so yeah, you have skills.

My 2 cents go to the final bit. The bullets go in black-white-black-white wave, so you could try to change colours according to that. And then do it for another 60 seconds lol

The bullets down the middle aren't the problem, it's the ones coming from the claws because they're very hard to see and while constantly switching polarity it gets confusing as to which bullets you can absorb too XD

Surviving that final form on hard mode like that has never been done before. The only way it's ever been survived to the last second is to start firing salvos of missiles of your own to induce slowdown, and that's on the NAOMI arcade version. The Game cube version has very little slowdown. Does the XBL version ever slow down its framerate when there's too many bullets&explosions?

Haha, wow. I've just been playing, and I wanted to see some techniques for defeating the final boss. This insane, you've got skills mate ;)
