Adding a little atmosphere into moviestorm; this my second demo... first at: http://vimeo.com/3509314 (a 3 minute music video)
Using standard Moviestorm 1.1.4 build i've added my weather props to bring just alittle more atmos into the system. An early edition of just a few props.
All effects are rendered real-time, wholely within moviestorm. to see more of this... http://vimeo.com/3509314

  • Pretty good only thing i see is that The snow is falling slow really Really slow. have you tryed to speed it up a little?. over all though pretty good

  • Thanks.

Without volume particle effects (I mostly used sliding textures on the prop's surfaces i made) in a real-time engine ( moviestorm ), I was happy how the atmosphere props turned out.

Snow too slow, oh :-) LOL it's been such a long time since i've seen snow.... always had an impression that it's slow. I do intend to make different speed and types snow- combine this with post-production weather effects a moviestorm movie may look cool :-)

  • That's awesome! I thought it would have to be done all in post.

  • Thanks, Yes no post and no video overlays too. all done with a few simple props within moviestorm.

  • I havent seen MovieStorm before. But , my life has only ever incorporated iCLone from Reallusion.

I work hard and maybe like you.... people assume that because the output is deceivingly simplistic!!! or easy-on-the-eyes.... they think creation is also easy.

Well, I know the timeit takes, and on average I would say ina days work and modelling (modelling being the key word) I get about 3 to 3.5 minutes a day output.

The ToadStool Set took 2 10 hour days to get right.

    Best wishes.
