4:35 That chain is 14 karat gold. Pure gold is 24 karat.
Gold is rather soft and very easy to manipulate in it's pure state. When they added other metals to it in the beginning, that is to strengthen and bolster it against wear and tear.

From the first seconds of this video i hear lies. All that karat gold is a set up. They mix shit to make what they called gold in the end. I purchased 62gr 18k chain in US for $4500 at KAY Jewelers and in Ukraine local jewelry store offered me $20 non of the other Ukrainian/Russian stores passed that mark. Real gold doesn't go by karats (weight) it is marked by how clean it is 999 is pure gold the lower the grade the cheaper gold it is.
