MAYA CARE SENIOR CITIZENS

Maya CARE was conceived as a small dream - to provide services to senior citizens and a source of livelihood to women. The dream is now a movement propelled by growing a network of volunteers, men and women... across seven Indian cities. Our growing team of volunteers includes home-makers, students, working and retired professionals. We welcome people with a disability to volunteer so that they can leverage their other strengths and make a difference. If you wish to be part of the Maya CARE dream, it will be a pleasure to have you with us... Primarily a care service for senior citizens, Maya CARE is also used by those with a mental or physical disability as well as families of professionals.
Services: Accompanying senior citizens to the doctor/social/cultural event/railway station/airport, sitting with them in hospital, outside the ICU, reading to them, writing letters/articles for them, computer-related work, sorting out documents, bank transactions, applying for a phone/gas connection, helping with house registration, making an affidavit...
