Torchlight Gameplay

A little bit of gameplay from a new game called Torchlight. Made by some of the same people who made Diablo, and with the same person who made the music for Diablo. The game costs $20 and you can get it here: http://www.torchlightgame.com/ .

The game looks good, but surprisingly has pretty low system requirements. I can max it out on my craptastic Nvidia GeForce 8200 integrated GPU.

I can already see a couple of good builds of the destroyer class. I'm thinking once i get the game, i'll go the alchemist and see how i can build him up. Might take me 2-3 goes through the game to build a nice mage :D

Cannot wait for the MMO, any known release date????

No multiplayer. Runic Games created this to gather money to create their next game, which is supposed to be set in the Torchlight universe, but be an MMO. They're going to release all of the tools they used to create the game to the people who bought it, so the community will be the ones adding new content. There is a multiplayer mod in the works right now.

Yes, it borrows from Fate. Any idea why? Its because the development team that made Fate also worked on this game. The more you know. Some of them also worked on Diablo and Diablo 2, as well as Mythos.
