Hey folks, some new stuff here for 2010. After a full replacement VOX unit on my dash, I decided to look into some new tech toys that would give Kitt that......UMPHF that he was missing. :-) I've got some new add ons coming this summer as well.

what kind of alarm and siren do u have if u kow the model that wod be great

@oohretababy The alarm system I have is just a regular Viper model....that's not what controls the car's speech and sound effects though when I arm and dis arm him. I purchased a SKYTEK MP3 Programmable siren that can attach to any existing car alarm setup, then all you do is change the sound effects you want your alarm to have by uploading them from your computer. The SKYTEK company also makes a full blown alarm setup...but I just purchased the siren upgrade. Hope this helps. :-)

@SWANSTINATOR The how part would take too long to explain. :-) And honestly, I wouldn't begin to know exactly how much I spent. It's been a project that's lasted from early 1994 and is still going. I know you can buy fully finished cars for around 40-50 thousand....but I doubt I even spent half of that on mine. I saved a ton of money by doing the wiring, and assembly work myself. The components came from various folks including family members that worked on TV. Peace man.

@rb59astro Thanks for the nice words. As far as the door LEDs you are asking about, you may try looking at some of the Knight Rider message boards, or the communities that are online. Since I can't put in a web address here, try looking up a Knight Rider website called "The Foundation" or "The Registries" Both are excellent sources of info filled with very talented people. Many of which helped point me in the right direction. Good luck buddy. :-)
