This is part one of my experience with the church of latter day saints. Before you condemn me, wait for part 2.

  • You are soooo pretentious. "my own complex belief system..."

And no one cares that you ride your motorcycle while chatting to us...it's stupid.

  • @boschtard for some reason over 700,000 people disagree.

  • ok man, Im am no mormon, I Believe in Christ and God's Word The Holy Bible.

But I will give you a couple things to ponder, Language Changes, New Translations of Books and Bibles Change....

So when one Bible may specifially mention "silk" It may just mean something of the time that was like todays known silk... Not saying this is that case...

    But more importantly...

Dont just pick apart anything because of the language used to communicate it.

People do that with the bible everyday...

  • Well, the difference is that the whole Mormon religion is baised on a literal interpretation. So if it can't be taken literally then the whole argument is void.

  • Religion is the cause of many wars...that should be enough for any sane person to condemn it.

  • thats kind of a oversimplification. Wars are a product of human nature. Relion just tends to be a means.

  • Or you don't know any better and they know the truth, but at this day and age its all opinion. Death will bare the truth of what has been written to all. I don't know if I am being redundant my last comment did not look like it went through.

  • I basically agree with you, but Santa Claus is also a belief - there is no real difference if you think about it. The only difference is that most of us stop believing in Santa Claus - some of us take it further and stop believing in the gods as well. I also believed in God when I was a child, until it became clear to me that it was only a myth invented by men, a long time ago, to explain the world. They didn't know any better.

  • God, Allah and Jehovah are all the same but in different religions. but basically same Beliefs. Santa Claus was a human that lived at one time but he died like all the rest of us will. If you choose not to believe thats your own prerogative but if religion is true and not some made up shit then well sucks to be you. but if its not then the believers are not out any thing but a dream.

  • Ok nothing I can say will change your mind... I will not throw my time away talking to you. Burn in hell for all I care.

  • God won't answer ANY questions - because he's imaginary. You just haven't got the balls to handle the truth.
