A young Paul Douglas giving the weather at the St. Paul (Minnesota) Winter Carnival in 1986. Be sure to watch until the end, when his "Fantasygram" sings a song for National Weatherman's Day.
(Yes, Paul is talking with Paul Magers, now of KCBS in Los Angeles, and the then-new co-anchor Diana Pierce, who remains at KARE-11.)
Paul moved from KARE-11 (formerly WUSA, formerly WTCN) in the Twin Cities to WBBM-TV in Chicago, before returning to Minneapolis to serve as a WCCO-TV's meteorologist until April 2008.
Diana was not a "new" co-anchor in 1986. She and Paul Magers both joined the station in September 1983. Paul Douglas arrived in May of that same year.

@gretchencourt Good catch! I was thinking "new" in the sense that Diana is still going strong at KARE-11 well over 20 years after this clip aired; I guess "new" is relative.
