  • Explained perfectly to me, other than I had learned from previous videos that the 4th finger isn't needed, but adds a fuller sound. Might have been good to bring that up?

  • @qwertqwe oh, well the 4th finger plays the octave. yea it makes it fuller by doubling the root, but doesn't cahnge the context of the chord. For example, C-G is a C5 power chord, but if you double the root with the pinky (4th finger), then you're playing C-G-C. It's the same exact chord, but a tad fuller sounding, I suppose.
