I think is a diplomatic move, to smooth tensions between the Catholic Bishops and Obama, but I don't think is going to work in favor of the Catholic Institutions and the Obama care mandate, the only person who is going to win something here is Obama making believe to the luke warm catholics that Obama is right and that the Catholic Church finally approved his Care Plan. Absolutely disgusting... And pathetic. The response of the archdiocese was telling, where they claimed that we can set aside our "partisan politics" for an evening of speaking nicely to each other. Excuse me? Cardinal Dolan, you equate good opposing evil with partisan politics? Is the Catholic Faith nothing to you but politics?
