  • What's interesting to note here is that with stimulants and the true ADHD brain, the brain only wants that "certain" amount it needs to function properly. I've always found that to be proof that ADHD is a real physiological condition and not some diet issue, environmental issue or "bad parenting" issue. The medication does not make you "high" or euphoric by any means. It's hard for some people to understand that.

  • @Ireg2post1 Yes, I agree. Well said.

  • lol so happy that i dont let stupid docs drug me up n control mylife lol ....adhd can kill you

  • @heavenlycharm86 People with untreated ADHD have a higher rate of fatal car accidents and fatal head injury than the general population. So I agree, having ADHD can kill you.

  • I have very poor concentration. It is effecting my life, in every way, to the point of losing my job, losing friends, and losing family members. My doctor suggested i take Adderall. However, i refused, because, it is addictive drug. My question to u is, r u finding your self, increasing dosage, over time, r u taking the same dosage, that u started with.

  • @dave805a I'm taking the same dosage I started at when I was 23 years old.

  • @DocADHD Ok, I can understand your intention, but I just think they cannot be compared because of their different ammount of intake and their effect on the body, but I can understand that you make this comparison for people who has never tried Concerta. We know it has nothing to do with an aspirin. Nothing.

  • What is the BEST Medication with ADD Inattentive TYPE?

  • @ChocolateMyrrh "Mind mastery skills" work well if the brain is able to process and retain the information already. With ADHD, we can learn all the skills we want, but it is difficult to remember them, follow them, and put them to use.

  • @chispygato I was making a comparison regarding the amount of side effects.

  • I don't understand how can you compare aspirins with Concerta for ADHD. Can you please explain? To begin with, Concerta is taken daily, whereas aspirins rarely. Thank you.
