Is there REALLY a war on drugs in America? Here are some facts:

1.) 46% of all Americans are at LEAST on one prescription medication

2.) About 106,000 people die each year due to medication prescribed by doctors

3.) About 650,000 people die each year from WRONG prescription medication from a doctor

4.) Over 11,000 people die each year from illegal drugs

5.) More than TWICE the number of people die from over-the-counter pain killers (Tylenol, Aspirin, Aleve) than ALL ILLEGAL DRUGS COMBINED

I'd think that over the counter drugs would be involved in a higher number of deaths simply because of the fact that they are easier to get hold of and thus more open to abuse...

To ban a drug is actually unconstitutional, so there really should not be an illegal drug. Also, the reason prescribed and otc drugs are more dangerous is because they WANT it that way. If they can sell you a pill to fix one problem, but it causes two other problems, then now they get to sell you two OTHER drugs for THOSE problems, which carry even MORE side effects. and so on and so forth. This is why drugs like marijuana which actually HELPS people and is safe is illegal. It cuts into profits.

Have you ever been to your local small town doctor's office? What you will see there are mostly sick old people and an equal amount of very well dressed salesman, Mercedes Benz outside and a "doctor" in an Armani Suit dealing more enthusiastically with the salesman than the patients who are quickly moved in and out like sheep. What a joke. In ancient China the doctor was paid when you were well! What a revolutionary concept! Focus on keeping the patient from even taking a drug.

Right on the money again luv. Keep in mind legal drugs are OWNED patients and illegal drugs are not and cannot be owned by the Pharmaceutical Co's. Thats why illegal drugs will NEVER be legal. Over the counter meds are open to any fool who wants to make them with little to no consequences. The FDA Admin is crap today and not to be trusted since GW Bush Jr trashed that agency. Even Oboma is in the pharama co's pockets. Cash is king in this country. Its all politics and greed as per usual.

Its a war against your civil liberties! They want to control what you put into your body! Drug use is a victimless crime. A drug addict becomes a criminal once he commits a crime like theft or murder and not before then! REMEMBER THAT!
