it's not advised opening the hard disk .... one because dust will stick on the surface making it difficult to read.

two because you could have gone to appstore and they might change you of ipod

when you open it guarantee expires

@damphier14 it doesnt matter already - anyway I didn't need that ipod so I decided to disassemble it

That is the click of death. There's no way to fix it, it has to be replaced. I have lots of these ipod hard drives with different issues. Usually from bumping or dropping the ipod when it was reading the disk.
