laz, it simply it not the easy way to not accpet the status quo. it is apparent that until things change you don't want to discuss what "is" and that is your perogative. i prefer to keep voicing an attempt to wake folks up, and have a real electorate, not one bogged down by machinery.

iwouldnt say we are the worst in the U.S. but you are right every1 does know about the corruption in politics not only in illinois but around the country. i do believe that Obama knew something about it Blagojevich has been under investigation for about 3 years w/ a 13% aproval rating. Obama also chose not 2 have his own governen campain 4 him (when he had tons of others) & wouldnt even accept his financial contribution so clearly he knew somehting was up but what did u expect him 2 do?

he also chose to put emmanuel as his chief of staff and he is DEEP into the chicago machine. Jesse Jackson Jr as well, his national co-chair. and axelrod was mayor daley's biggest defender, he ran obama's campaign. so he also chose to bring many of his won aboard.
