@Tankweti1 OMG 3.9-4.0 gpa that is almost impossible. My school requires a 3.0 to stay in the program. Dean's list is 3.5 and currently, no nursing student out of 47 are on the dean's list. Scary!!!

@jovitanas Beware of "just passing". I grad in May 2010 with BSN, 3.5 GPA & was just told by local hospital my grades were not "good enough" to be hired. They are currently looking for a 3.9 to 4.0 GPA. This same hospital used to require a "B" average. I have noticed that other places I have applied to have also raised their bar up to a 3.5. This is happening because there are too many applicants. Above hosp had 212 apps, hired 10 from within and 2 from outside who had 4.0 GPA, no ASN's.

Hey, so am starting nursing school this fall(in 3 weeks) i about the required fundamentals of nursing and have studied the first 5 chpt....taken 2 sample tests on them and am still getting c's am getting worried ahhhhhhh. Any advice???
