Multiculturalism EPIC FAIL?

CHALLENGE : which country is the best example of a successful multicultural society, you are free to define successful in your way, but preferably a society which you believe others should model, or one you'd like to live in over others.

Here are 3 European leaders which have voiced their disappointment to the attempts creating a multicultural society. Can they all be wrong? Even if they're just saying what's popular to get voted, shouldn't leaders have SOME respect for what's popular demand?

NOTE : I did NOT get this idea from Pat Buchanan, he mentions 4 people, including Spain ex-PM, and I try not to read his blog anymore after his idiotic comments on evolution (whether he is stupid or ignorant is irrelevant, as he has no excuse misleading a crowd when he knows he has a following)

@spiritualbully it's seems you are finally understanding! Yes, that is why Australian multiculturalism works so well, there is a harmony between all the groups. Sure there are racists, and yeah there are some racially based attacks, but when you compare these to how often it happens, there are very few each year.

In reply to previous comments; the definition of multiculturalism is many cultures combined in the one. That is why Australia is a good example. You will find that English is only the defacto language, there is no official one! Australia has an immigration system different to many others, and I will say yes the floodgates are somewhat opened, that is the only reason our population is growing. If there is no "official" language, does the government accommodate all others? If not, then it's de facto, as good as official.

Having lived in Australia for a decade and grown up in the UK for the first 2 decades of my life, I'd say it's working a lot better in Australia (with the exception of the aboriginals). than UK
