oh, actually - the point i was trying to make is that lip sync can now be done *live* using the main second life release candidate viewer!

lmfao: "yes i knew a suicide bomber once... but you see the relationship was very short." (BTW Hamlet, do try the new lip sync feature in the Release Client! We fought for its implication for a bit and it's finally there -- although in very rudimentary forms. No expressions yet, just robotic mouth motion. You have to manually activate it though. At least it's a more integrated way to find out who's speaking than the traditional green stuff for sl voice.)

Lip sync's great for narrative machinima, but since this is a news clip entirely comprised of live source material, that wouldn't work.
