New Volvos just don't do it for me anymore, and I'm not just a fan of the old boxy ones, the newer models were great looking (like the first V70 R and so on), nowadays? Put a Hyundai por Kia sticker on a brand new Volvo and people would go "that's ugly, even for a korean car". In fact, current Volvos look a lot like cars from China.

@Dokosvai it's sad we don't buy something more unique and stylish. saab is bankrupt because it remains a saab. we all like the boxy volvo but that shape is bad for fuel econ and wind noise.

@Dokosvai The Concept Universe actually uses alot of old Volvo styling cues. The hood/nose is Volvo P44 derived.

my PERSONAL opinion - Volvo design isn't really my taste anymore since the S60 came out very different from the Concept S60

and also the Concept Universe kinda scares me that Volvo will lose its straightly and cool identity in future

but god bless Saab, which kept and will keep it's philosophy and character

have you seen the sketch pic of the upcoming saab 9-3???

perfect symbiosis between the old saabs and the 9-5 <3
