  • no theyre building the m8's for that. no m7 metro north or lirr has any pantographs

  • It is called the Park Avenue Bridge it connects Harlem and the Bronx, in NYC.

  • what is the name of that bridge and where it is located?

  • Possibly a pantograph for working on the line to New Haven, which is electrified using overhead catenary instead of third rail.

  • One thing I noticed about the M-7's on the Metro North is that it has this little extra piece on top of it's cars, at the ending part. I noticed that all Metro North equipment has a little something extra on their trains than the LIRR which runs the same type of equipment. I wonder why that is.
