No I didn't, I actually experience less noise and better sounds/tone. The VN's had an unbalanced tone and I was constantly adjusting them for my own tonal preferences.

Cool he's using his signature strats with Lace Sensor pups (his 2000's models have Vintage Noiseless pups). If this is in 2005, then his strats should've had the VN's but that's cool, I like the LS pups better (Had them put in my EC strat).
