Legendary Item: Toxic Bellows
Found In: Pyramid (Desert Realm)

The Spider Queen is fought like how Litch was. She will freely move around a circular web. One difference between the Litch is that she is very, VERY fast. The Bellows will remove some of her health and make her move a bit slower (but she's still damn quick).

I recommend bringing in some Weapon powerups with a Rapid Fire item. That way you'll be able to let off a few shots before having to move. When she charges you, be sure to turbo out of her way (as you can see in the vid, if you don't, she'll get ya).

The Queen can also create spider nests. Be sure to destroy them the moment she spawns them. Aside from that, good luck!

Note: The Spider Queen will always give you 2-3 levels each time you fight - and go through to defeat - her. Because of this, she's a fantastic option at leveling up your character to 99.

I remember playing this game 6 years ago when I was 10 with my step-dad. We'd stay up all night fucking shit up, and it was great! Ah, nostalgia!

I hate how in the Gamecube version it doesn't show the Spider Queen falling through a HOLE in the web. It does that in other Gauntlet games, as well as DL on the PS2.

And yes, she's a total bitch to fight. Good job.
