I have 3 Mosin Nagants.and two Mausers... It is true, the mauser has a better quality build to it, and the action is smoothet, BUT! The mosin nagant has better sights, is more accurate and is built.to last. The action is slightly rougher, but after all if it hurts your wrist or shoulder to work this rifle, maybe you.should go back to being a faggot sissy boy, leave real rifles to men.

Hello,
The bayonet was meant to be left on the Mosin. However, it could be taken off very easily with the multipurpose tool. There was no reason to stick it in the ground!
The Soviet bayonet is a cruciform type. The wounds it causes are MUCH harder to treat and more prone to infection than a blade.
There was a reason the Soviets stuck with that design.

Germans have always been all about high quality, innovation, and superior workmanship. They created the first practical semi-auto pistol (Borchardt c-93), the best pistol round(9mm) and the most favored bolt action (Mauser).
Russians have always been all about practicality, simplicity, low production costs, and reliability. Mentioning the AK47 is merit enough.
Both the Mosin and the Mauser k98 are awesome in their own ways. The k98 is better made, but the Mosin will keep going and going.
