Shelby: Agility Practice 08/05 - 12/09/08

This is a compilation of footage of Shelby, my red Shiba Inu, practicing her agility skills at the K9 Campus (http://www.morrisk9campus.com/). With the help of their phenomenal instructors, Shelby and I are now competing in Open Standard and Excellent A Jumpers with Weaves. She's getting much faster at her weaves and much more consistent with her downs on the table. In addition to being incredibly intelligent and loving challenges, Shelby is a very gifted jumper. She runs in the 16" height class; as you can see, that's well within her range of ability! As I've said before, I'm pretty sure that she's a reincarnated show jumper! Nothing is more rewarding than seeing how happy she is playing the agility game; while it's nice to earn titles, it's much more fun to see her do her happy strut on the way back to the car after a good night of running around the courses. :)
