Ben Stevens, is an alcoholic, he fights his demons with booze to forget a fateful day about a year ago, when his wife died in his arms. He tried CPR, everything he knew to revive her and keep her alive but to no avail, she passed into the next life in his care. 1 year has passed and Ben trudges along through life raising his teenage kids as best as he knows how. He knows that he could never fill the gap that his wife and mother to his children has left. Many a night he drinks till the pain and memory of that horrible day leaves. He blames himself, sometimes he wishes some one else could have been there so he would not have to carry this immense guilt of his wife's passing on his watch. His dark subconscious will not let him forget that his wife died in his arms.

it comes down to this: is she truly sorry?..if she is, u should forgive her..but, can u forgive her?..do u have the strength to forgive her?..if u don't have the strength to forgive someone for their mistakes, why should u expect them to have the strength to refrain from making those mistakes?..u need to know if she is truly sorry. but, u cannot know that if u haven't talked to her in 16 years..u need to talk to her and decide for yourself if u think she's truly sorry.

i can't judge your resentment, because i didn't go thru the experience u had with your parents..but, i can also say that u cannot judge them for their addiction, because u were never addicted to alcohol. u can easily tell yourself that they SHOULD have gotten their act together, but the real question is, could they?..were they strong enough?..would u have been strong enough if u were enslaved by alcohol? (cont..)

  • good acting :)

  • Why is this guy topless? lol

  • I come from alcoholic parents,it was difficult to watch this video...my parents addiction destroyed my childhood because of their choices to turn to the bottle,I have not forgave them...they don't deserve it. My father passed away a year ago and my mother is alone,I haven't talked to her for 16 yrs and refuse to start now.I am a mother of a 16 yr old daughter and she has not seen alcohol in my home..ever!!!!.. Am I cold and harsh? Yes I am towards them.

  • is this for real? or a joke?

  • U should get arrested for putting this video up on utube if ur reall drunk.

  • you look like travis tritt

  • GREAT ACTING BUT ILL TELL YOU SOMETHING THE PAIN WAS REAL.........HE HAS BEEN THROUGH A LOT

  • wow that was brilliant!!
