Ten Years Later: MTA Reflects on 9/11

On September 11, 2001, MTA personnel and equipment assisted in the evacuation of Lower Manhattan and the recovery efforts at the World Trade Center site. Ten years later, progress continues in the rebuilding of New York and its transit system.

This clip as others send home that My wife and mother of tripletts was but minutes away, her departure from the area aided by my brothers and sisters of the MTA also the NYPD,NYFD and others I do not know.My graditude for that is only out measured for my heart felt sorrow for the loss of those families and friends who were not as fortunate. I cannot believe it has been 10 years, since the incident. Time has flown for sure. Anyway, I hope that the Cortlandt St. station for the 1 train will be finished, along with the rest of the whole site. God bless those who helped cleaned up the area and RIP to those who died on that tragic day.
