Its all Wushu, the word literally means "martial art". They only call it Wushu Championships because its not a specific martial art. If there was a world championship for every type of Gung Fu and Karate there would be like 80 different classes. As for the Sanshou its just the sparring aspect of the competition.

Sanda and Sanshou are Wushu, just applied without theatrics and exaggerations. But you're right, if someone were to only learn the forms of Wushu and not the application it wouldn't be nearly as effective.

@chillout010 ya this is not wushu,its sanda haha,wushu is all about flips and acrobatics no fighting dats why its not effective and very useless in a fight. BUt i can tell sanda is very good in a fight. Thank you bro see ya
