This prototype time-piece from UK-based designers James Auger and Jimmy Loizeau traps insects on flypaper stretched across its roller system before depositing them into a vat of bacteria. The ensuing chemical reaction, or "digestion," is transformed into power that keeps the rollers rollin' and the LCD clock ablaze.

Este é o protótipo de um relógio "alimentado" por moscas. Nele, uma esteira de papel pegajoso, que é movimentada por cilindros, transporta as moscas capturadas até uma célula de digestão. Com isso, obtém a energia necessária para acionar os cilindros e fazer funcionar o relógio digital.
Os inventores deste relógio, os britânicos James Auger e Jimmy Loizeau, foram buscar inspiração para o projeto na Natureza: nas plantas carnívoras.
