@philthesmil Well, I appreciate your attempt to differentiate / or explain the difference between techno and breakbeat.....but with all due respect, while your "description" of techno is fairly accurate, "breakbeat" is a lot more varied than one beat pattern. :)

@ValHazzard Well... Fused, on the same album, uses real drums in its beat. No electronic genre really does that, the point is to mainly used synthesized samples. Also, the rogue element clearly has a lot of house influences; Stiletto, You Know That Sound and Rogue Rock all seem like pure House songs to me(which makes him more like Deadmau5 rather than breakbeat artists like The Crystal Method).

@ValHazzard breakbeat for sure, but it's been here long before techno (think james brown-original breakbeats era-with instruments of course..unlike drum machines nowdays) awesome tune.

Oh, and if you're looking to find music "like" this (although Rogue Element has many tracks that are quite simply one of a kind), rainmaker6920 said it best: "One clue to finding artists that sound like The Rogue Element would be to search for the artists they're remixing and vice-versa... Then take some of those artists and see who's remixing them and work your way out... You'll get some dead-ends and some winners... "
