Don't put any foodinto the nest box,it won't encourage them to fly out the box,and it'll go mouldy too!Sorry if I sound alarming.

Do they parents take care of them or do have to intervine. Becasue i want to get a male parakeet and possibly one more. Male or female. And if they have babaies. I dont know i have heard different things from the internet.
