Screeching and squealing out of England and straight into the New Wave of
Traditional Heavy Metal with all of the bombast and bravado of their heroes comes Bedfordshirean quartet, HeKz! From hi-octane rockers to intricate and meandering epics, they'll take you on a journey through all things musical and mythical without losing that much needed sense of fun.
Taking influence in equal parts from heavy metal legends such as Iron Maiden & Judas Priest and prog rock luminaries such as Rush & Yes, HeKz continue to hone their sound into something less derivative and much more organic, giving way to a unique style which will make the band instantly identifiable in years to come.
Fresh from their performance to a capacity crowd on the New Blood Stage at 2010's Bloodstock Open Air festival, HeKz embarked on an independent tour of the UK in September bringing their unique brand of high-energy heavy metal to a selection of venues across the country.
