The government should definitely be in the student loan business. I have both government and private loans and the private companies will not work with you at all during hardship. Also the economic collapse was caused by the derivatives market and not poor people not paying their mortgage.
One more quick point. The government should not be in the student loan or home loan business. They give loans to high risk people who would not otherwise be able to get loans from the private sector. The government doesn't have to worry about losing money because in reality they don't have any. If I could get cheaper insurance from a company two states over but the government won't let me, then what is making me buy more expensive insurance? Not the insurance companies.
People being fined for not buying something is tyranny. That's all that really needs to be said. You pay a lot in insurance every month because your child is high risk. Should someone with multiple drunk driving arrests not pay a higher car insurance rate than someone with a clean driving record? All this debate is doing is creating class - war and dividing the people. Cursing and being rude does not help your argument either.
"Godwin's Law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies)[1 is a humorous observation made by Mike Godwin in 1990 which has become an Internet adage. It states: "As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."] The term Godwin's law can also refer to the tradition that whoever makes such a comparison is said to "lose" the debate." HAHA
Orion weren't these arguments already discussed and discussed in the past? I sort of remember someone discussing these very issues. the Films were in Black and White, since they were from the 1930's, and I mostly had to rely on translations, since they happened to be in german.
Autosomal dominant disease or new mutation? Now if you are talking about the recurrence rate of a new mutation then yes it would be 30%. But if its autosomal dominant then it 100%. You missed the point completely and got defensive. I was just putting things in perspective for you. Once the tax payers are footing the bill if you child has a slip, they have a say in the matter, the next time you want to reproduce, since it is likely the kid will cost money if there is an accident.
@FreedomTrumpsForce
