@merknsmirk no need for a disassembly vid. Jus load and fire the POS. It will disassemble itself. Lol

"Assault Rifles" are defined as a firearm with (among other things) selective fire. So unless you have a weapon capable of firing in both semi-auto and full-auto modes, it is NOT an "assault rifle". The term has been misused by the media and politicians to make the firearm sound evil and scary.

@tubefed420 actually assault isnt an action its a group of actions. the actions include blow-back, blow-forward, recoil and gas.

@TheJomogogo and i dont mind spending a little to make each one of the guns that i own fit my expectations and standard of how they should feel, fire and cycle. I dont own a gun that doesnt live up to my expectations and i wont own a gun that i dont enjoy firing. for me its a hobby so i have no problem tweaking a new gun until it feels just right in my hands other wise i'm not having any fun with it
-
@TheJomogogo why not i bought a Mosin Nagant which sells for around $100 then put about another $170 into it buying a new stock a long eye relief scope and a mount for it as well as having the barrel cut and crowned. after doing that i was able to out shoot my buddy who is roughly the same skill as i am with a rifle. He used a Remington 700 while i used my old Mosin and I was to group tighter at 300 yards. proving that sometimes polishing a turd gives you a piece of gold at half the cost.

I agree with everything you said.
The point is IT'S PRICE.
It's foolish to spend a lot of $ customizing it.
You customize a Colt .45 Gov't Model, etc. You don't spend a bundle fucking with a Hi-Point.
Got it?

@TTBlackOPS actually id rather trust a hi point than a taurus any day of the week. and as ive said before my 995ts has held its own against any other gun that i have in my collection and trust me thats saying something.
-
@salinas3390 yes but you cant blame the gun for what some idiot kids did
-
@TheJomogogo how so? this gun is reliable accurate and comes with one of the best warranties on the market. ive put over 2000 rounds through my 995ts and the thing functioned perfectly with minimal jams and none that were more complicated than a simple double feed which is usually due to the mag. the price on this gun is pefect and the ammunition is pretty inexpensive and at 100 yards my groups remain consistantly tight. for what this gun is made for you will be hard pressed to find better
Your need to glorify stupid 'assault weapon' terminology just gives the anti's bullshit rhetoric teeth.
And that is how things get banned for no apparent reason.

When I first seen the Hi point carbine, and examined it close up, my first thought was
it was a crude piece of junk and very ugly,
but bought it anyway, because I was looking for this type of weapon, and no one else made anything like it. What a pleasant suprize this gun is, ammo is cheap, fun to shoot, accurate, reliable,
and requires minimal care to maintain.
highly recommend!
