This song, written by Oscar winner Randy Newman, just blows me away.The original recording of it was sung by Bonnie Raitt on the soundtrack for the 1995 Randy Newman-penned Broadway play, "Randy Newman's Faust". Chantal Kreviazuk is the most recent artist to cover this one. Of course being a 70's girl, I love Bonnie Raitt's and Linda Ronstadt's version as well...
