For all you out there who are Benny Hill fans . . . apparently "The Lad Himself" must've loved this number, as an instrumental rendition of "Room to Move" covered the last 3-4 minutes of the "Lower Tidmarsh Hospital Service" sketch from his very first Thames TV special in 1969.

In June '83, I was in London. Mayall was scheduled to be at The Marquee Club! Called up for tix, but was told he had cancelled. (don't recall the reason) Man, was I disappointed . . . Mayall in LOndon at the Marquee...WOW!!!!!! Oh well. :(

uff, i had an expierence similar to yours in 2006 when i went to Madrid to see him, but he was ill so it was cancelled -.- but then the next year he came to Granada (my city) and i saw him and he gave me his sign! and buddy withington (his guitarist) gave me his pick! amazing... he is the boss
