IgNobel 2009 Roadshow Sword Swallowing

Dan Meyer is actually swallowing a sword. The sword is long, and reaches his belt buckle. The sword is real. He then takes a bow - imagine what that's doing to the sword.

Dan Meyer and Dr Brian Witcombe won an igNobel in Medicine in 2007 for studying the medical side-effects of sword-swallowing. These involve a lot of perforations, and sometimes death.
