Don't care what the truth is, care about the truth!

I think too often we (Christians) are afraid that the truth is too much for people to handle and we are afraid of the persecution we might face as a result of sharing biblical truth with those who need a Savior.

The gospel, in its pure and complete form, is an offense when proclaimed to the ungodly. We must be prepared to suffer the consequences from those who are cut to the quick by what the truth reveals about them. We should fear more the consequences of editing the gospel and removing its sting to the natural mind of man.

The truth hurts, but it must be spoken no matter what the consequences may be. People do not need a God that winks at wickedness and deals in the relativism of man. People need a God of absolutes, mercy, grace, and holiness; a God who loves justice and order.

i do want to know everything, if i close my mind an only accept god then i will not learn the truth i will only know what i am told.

Oddly enough it was recognizing that the Truth is more important than whether I was a Christian, Jew, Muslim, or Atheist that gave me the intellectual honesty that led me from Christianity to Judaism to Atheism. If my honest search for truth is what will condemn me to eternal torment, then a war is what your god can have. Maybe God does exist and the test is having the courage to stand up to Him.
