Grumpy Ojii-san's been watching cartoons for a long time. When he sees something he likes, he wants to tell people about it. When he sees something he doesn't like, he want's to gripe about it. And sometime he doesn't know what to think.

This time, the narration was shot in Arizona's Estrella Mountains.

Grumpy Ojii-san adds his opinion to paraparajmo's review of the anime "Jo jo's Bizarre Adventure."

  • Kenshiro can't see stands, Star Platinum moves faster than the speed of sound, and Jotaro can stop time. So yeah, Jotaro could solo the entire Fist of the North Star universe by himself quite easily.

If you thought the Jojo anime was good in the way that the characters use their minds, you should try reading the manga sometime as well. There's a whole lot more where that came from.

  • I found it, I watched it, I LOVED it. For a fighting anime, the characters certenly used their brains a lot. I especially loved how Jotaro handled many of the battles with ease. He'd give the fist of the north star a run for his money in a fight (although my money is on the latter with the whole "I touch you, you're already dead" thing).

  • If you really like JJBA Ojiisan, then I recommend you buy the manga as well.

If you watched the whole OVA in Japanese, I'd probably recommend buying the Japanese tankouban.

  • Superb review, Ojiisan.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is also a great manga, which I recommend to you.

  • I've wanted to see this anime ever since I heard WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Now I have a better reason. Arigato, oji-san.

  • It's official--this man has convinced me to buy the manga....
