WGBA, Green Bay and the Fox Cities' NBC affiliate and the second youngest station in the Green Bay/Appleton area, decides to take the quick and painless route in ending their analog service at 10am on June 12, 2009. After a couple of promos for "Deal or No Deal" and their news, a split-second of "Today" is seen before the screen cuts to black. You probably figure you can't make much of a history reel out of the station beyond being the home of "Cuddles the Clown" and the place where network affiliations end up when other networks have nowhere else to go (Fox came there in 1992 when WXGZ went bankrupt, while NBC became WGBA's network in 1995 since Fox bought a small interest in WLUK and went there).
Recorded on a RCA portable TV with a webcam, and thankfully an audio jack hookup directly to the PC for more than acceptable sound.
