jeez.. Sakimoto sure knows how to make the genny sound great. All his stuff (Gauntlet 4, Midnight Resistance...etc) sound great!

Never heard of the game, but I'm impressed by it's unique take on the Breakout style of gameplay. Nice music, too.

Megadrive games generally had better music than the snes. This game is a perfect example, and yes I had both consoles back in the day.

Why hasn't this music been recorded by an orchestra? Used in movies? It's a waste.

Starting at 4:53 that's the best music track ever recorded for a 16bit game.

I disagree, The opening from Ogre Battle (which hitoshi composed as well) for the SNES is superior to that theme. However The soundtrack for this game is phenominal.

I believe ( possibly wrongly ) that this guy also composed the music for Gauntlet 4...which would explain why this stuff sounds great.

Man this is so awesome! I really appreciate what you done and the hard work it took to dig up those vintage games. I hope to hear more music from hitoshi sakimoto because I'm just one of his biggest fans. If you get a chance, could you make a column for hitoshi sakimoto? Thanks!
